TOP GUN LACROSSE CELEBRATES ITS 25TH CAMP SEASON

Baltimore Bound

See which Clam Alumni punched their tickets to Baltimore

Like we did last week, we're going to give you a write-up on all the Clam Alumni that played in the NCAA tournament.  For those moving on to Championship weekend: Good luck!  For those not: Congrats on a great run and thanks for letting us tag along for the ride!

DUKE
Max Quinzani (Senior, Duxbury HS, attack)
Performance Comments:
After a jittery first quarter (by both Duke and UNC), Max and the Blue Devils settled down and settled in to a 17-9 victory with Max chipping in 3 goals.  Up next for Duke is the rubber match with Virginia in Baltimore.

ARMY
Tyler Seymour (Senior, Nashua HS, attack)
Performance Comments:
Tyler led the Black Knights in points in the game with 1 goal and 1 assist, but unfortunately Army couldn't get any thing going against Cornell on Sunday.  Tyler ends his college career with 25 goals, 11 assists, 29 ground balls, and 6 caused turnovers (23 goals and 8 assists coming this season).  Congrats on a great run!

CORNELL
Chris Langton (Sophomore, St. John's Prep/Northfield Mount Hermon, midfield)
Scott Austin (Sophomore, Duxbury HS, attack)
Performance Comments:
Cornell apparently had enough of overtime games and proved that with a 14-5 win over Army.  Chris added an assist to the cause and while it may not seem like much, every point scored in the NCAA tournament stays with a player while Scott added some solid minutes to the effort despite not registering any stats on the sheet.  Next up for the Big Red: Notre Dame.

TUFTS
Jamie Atkins (Senior, Middlesex School, midfield)
Sam Gardner (Freshman, Phillips Exeter, defense)
Performance Comments:
With Sam's defensive help and 2 ground balls and Jamie's assist, Tufts is moving on to the NCAA D-3 Championshipship game with a 10-9 win over Cortland.  Jamie's lone assist was on the game-winning goal with three minutes to go in the contest.
