TOP GUN LACROSSE CELEBRATES ITS 25TH CAMP SEASON

CLAM ALUMNI FROM WEEK OF 4/4 - 4/10

Our top two on the list combine for 18 points in 4 games! I think we can simply jump to: here...we...go...

#1.  John Jennings
Colby
Attack
St. John's Prep
Comments: As is almost always the case, the NESCAC is as competative as ever, with every team capable of beating anyone else in conference on any given day.  John and Colby know that better than anyone.  On Wednesday, Colby took down Bowdoin 11-10 in overtime on the shoulders of John's 6 goal performance.  Unfortunately on Saturday, Wesleyan got the better of the Mules 7-8 despite 3 goals from John.  John now leads the team in goals (25) and total points (28).

#2. Jack Curtis
Endicott
Attack
Chelmsford HS
Comments: Jack and the Gulls had a solid week going 2-0 with wins over University of New England (20-6) and New England College (18-9).  Jack went for 2 goals and 2 assists against UNE and followed that up with 1 goal and 4 assists against NEC.  Jack is tied for the team lead in total points (36) and is #1 in assists with 18.

#3. Mark Goodrich
#3 Johns Hopkins
Midfield
The Rivers School
Comments: Hopkins continues to move up the national rankings (now up to #3 in the polls).  Friday, the Blue Jays took on a game Albany team that kept things close until the middle of the third quarter.  Then Hopkins did what a national title contender should do and put the game out of reach.  Mark helped with a goal and an assist in the effort.

#4. Brendan Wilbur
Quinnipiac
Attack
Hingham HS
Comments: In a good old fashion shootout that many lacrosse fans don't get to see in today's college game, Brendan had 2 goals and 1 helper in a 19-15 victory against Robert Morris.

#5. Jordan Greenfield
Fairfield
Attack
The Rivers School
Comments: Jordan continues to be a key part of the Stags' offense as he tallied a goal and an assist in Fairfield's contest against Loyola on Saturday.  Unfortunately, the Stags lost in overtime 6-7.

#6. Chris Landers
Wheaton
Attack
Proctor Academy
Comments: I'm sure Chris would trade some of the personal accomplishment from this week for a win, but regardless going for 2 goals and an assist against Keene State (L 6-17), then having 4 goals and 2 assists against Babson (L 14-19) needs to be applauded.  Chris is second on the team in both goals (19) and assists (10), and is third in overall points (29).

#7. Brendan Grant
Bentley
Attack
Xaverian Brothers HS
Comments: Brendan and Bentley continue their recent dominance over rival St. Anselm College with a 10-5 victory on Tuesday.  Brendan added to his team lead in points with a 1 goal, 3 assist performance.

#8.  Steve Manning
#14 Trinity
Midfield
The Rivers School
Comments: Trinity suffered it's first loss of the year on Saturday to #1 Tufts 10-18.  Steve dished out 2 assists in the effort, good for tops on the team.

#9. Quinn Cully
#2 Notre Dame
Midfield
Duxbury HS
Comments: While it wasn't the cleanest win for the Irish, they'll take a 7-6 win over Georgetown to remain undefeated on the season.  Quinn added a helper to the winning cause.

#T10.  Dyan Gatto
Keene State
Attack
Bromfield HS
Comments: Dylan tallied his first collegiate points on Wednesday in a 17-6 win over Wheaton.  Dylan had 1 goal and three assists in the victory.
