Clam Alumni: College All-Americans

Five Clam Alumni earn NCAA All-American honors

Their stories are all as varied as the schools for which they play. Matt Callahan transferred from D1(from Fairfield), where he'd been starting as a freshman. So too did Craig Sullivan (from Maryland). In each situation, the player saw that the smaller school setting would be better for them. And each, in hindsight, now agrees they were right. In the case of Grant Convington, the keeper endured four losing seasons, albeit in a very strong league, but never let it affect his leadership or the way he played the game. Both Kevin Helm and Mark Flibotte came from the same region but very different programs: Cohasset won a State Championship during Mark's time there; Norwell experienced a near equal share of wins and losses during Kevin's time.

Bottom line is that each keep workng hard and improving regardless of there situation. And each now finds himself of the top echelon of players playing the game he loves.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FOLLOW CLAM ALUMNI ON EARNING ALL-AMERICAN HONORS!
