     Title: Clams All-Americans Contd.
Missed one...

In trying to account for all the All-Americans from last summer's Clams teams, it seems we missed one. And we certainly want to give him his due.

Eric Slingerland, a junior midfielder from Phillips Exeter, received All-American recognition alongside teammate Matt Callahan. This brought the total number of current spring '09 HS All-Americans from last summer's team(s) to ten.

While I'm reluctant to mention "Verbal Commitments" until they're finalize on or shortly after July 1 (of which the Clams this summer have several), I will note that Eric has verbally committed to Georgetown. When I hear that Eric (and the others) have formalized these commitments I will be sure to post it right here on the "Clam Chatter" News section of our web page. So stay tuned.

Here are the other Clams who have been named as HS All-Americans for their spring '09 season.
