You can't go 4-1 (3-0 in the pool play) and have 5 players in the all-star game and be disappointed especially in one of the most competitive tournaments of the summer.
Below are the individual game write-ups w/ game stats. (Tournament stats will be at the bottom).

GAME 1 CLAMS (12) VS. BULLDOGS BLUE (7)
Comments: This game was a good wake up call for the boys. After building a good lead in the first half (after needing a strong defensive stand in the openning five minutes), this Bulldog team started chipping away at our 6-2 half time lead. The attack trio of Will Walker (2G, 2A), Matt Thistle (2G, 3A), and Jimmy Murphy (3G, 1A) lead the way in scoring in the game, supplying momentum-changing goals, especially in the second half.
GAME 2 CLAMS (12) vs. NYC EMPIRES (3)
Comments: Like the first game, our defense needed to make a strong stand in the opening five minutes with goalie Pete Hines making four key saves to keep the contest scoreless. Once the initial surge was withstood, the offense came alive. When the final whistle blew, we had six different players with at least two points. All tied with three points apiece were Matt Thistle (2G, 1A), Murph Vandervelde (1G, 2A), and Paul Hellar (3G).
GAME 3 CLAMS (10) vs. FLG '12 (9)
Comments: This was a thrilling game to be a part of. This FLG team played with poise and patience that gave them a one goal advantage at half. But the players that always seem to take up challenges like this took this game over. At the face-off "X" it was Joe Ricciuti with wingman Alex Bunick (1G, 1A) that gave us the possesions we needed. Defensively, goalie Conor Fraylick (10 saves) and the core of poles (Tanner Powers - 1A, Pete Willauer, Ryan Breen, Matt Ryan, Chase Williams, Matt Bouzianis, and Pat Dunn) helped tighten things up to give our offense a chance to win. And they took advantage. With Murph Vandervelde posting 3 goals, 1 assist, Matt Thistle put up 2 goals, 2 assists, and Will Walker adding 3 goals and 2 assists including the game-winner from Derek Youngman.
GAME 4 CLAMS (7) vs. PRIMETIME (9)
Comments: After two games on a 90+ degree day, we found ourselves unable to finish this game. We built a 5-3 lead in the first half, but were unable to hold on in the second half. Murph Vandervelde did everything he could with 4 goals to help save this one for us, but despite his efforts and those of Jimmy Murphy (2G, 1A), we weren't able to come back.
GAME 5 CLAMS (9) vs. BURNING RIVER (6)
Comments: This was a solid win to close out the tournament. While we never trailed in the contest, it wasn't until the fourth quarter that we pulled away and solidified the win. Again, it was Will Walker (2G, 3A) that led the charge offensively, but the scoring was spread around with 10 different players with at least a point.
