Title: Harvard Clams go "4 for 4" in big home win
All four Harvard Clam Alumni tally goals as Harvard pounds Bellarmine on Friday night
I try to keep these Alumni updates coming just once a week. As I see it, that's enough (see your facebook page, though, if you want more frequent updates).
However, what happened last night was special enough that I feel it warrants a mention all its own.
I'll have to be honest here: it's a real source of pride that the Clam alumni has four players currently playing for Harvard. (And also worth noting here is three more Clams will be playing for Harvard next spring.)
So when every one of our Clam alumni finds the back of the net in the same game, I feel it's deserving of a news story all its own.
Last night, Garrett Campbell (freshman, St. Johns Prep), Mark Scalise (junior, St. Johns Prep,) Eric Slingerland (freshman, Phillips Exeter) and Jack Walker (sophomore, Phillips Andover) each tallied a goal in Harvard's 21-10 victory over Bellarmine. Jack also added an assist.
The goals was the first of the season for Mark and Jack; it was the first of the season, and of his Harvard career, for Garrett. Eric now has 4 points on the year (2G, 2A).
