Title: Clam program adds two coaches for 2012 Summer
The Clam program will ultimately bring on a few new coaches for the upcoming summer, but the first two, locked in during the past couple weeks, are deserving of immediate mention

Below are the bio highlights of our two recent Clam program coaching additions.

Stephen Moreland, current Head Coach at Phillips Andover Academy, comes aboard this summer to coach on of our "A" squads. A former Captain in both high school (Phillips Andover) and college (University of Massachusetts) in his playing days, Coach Moreland has coached at many different locations and at nearly every level, ranging from southern Australia with the Burnside lax club to Andover High School, before returning to his alma mater. Coach Moreland has been the Assistant Coach at Phillips Andover since 2006, and will serve his first year as the Head Coach position this spring.

Chris Massey, who willl coach the 2015 "AA" squad alongside long-time Clam Coach Tim O'Brien, was a two-time All-American attackman for Garden City's 1994 New York Class B State Champion team. From there, he went on to win three NCAA championship rings from his time at Princeton University (1996 - 1998), where he was a three-time All-American and a Captain. He was named All-Ivy three times, and All-NCAA Tournament Team twice. He is second all-time in career goals at Princeton and fifth in career points. In 2003, Chris helped the LI Lizards win the MLL championship. Chris is also a practicing attorney, and lives in Norwell, Mass.

On behalf of the entire Clam program, we are tremendously excited to welcome Coach Moreland and Coach Massey aboard. Together, they make even more certain that the Clam program is set up very well for an outstanding Summer 2012.
