Comments

The 2014's started the summer with an impressive run down at the UMBC Shootout showing an ability to both win the close games (three one-goal wins), and dominate games (two wins by 4+ goals). They also showed resiliency, with two come-from-behind victories, the most impressive of them coming in the playoffs, when they overcame a 4-1 deficit to win 8-6.  Most importantly, the team got almost every attack and midfielder tallying at least a point (only one offensive player did not notch a point, and he did plenty of other things to help the team win).  Defensively, the poles and goalies posted a 5.1 goals against average in one of the most competitive tournaments of the summer.
