Title: 2014 AA team at the Under Armour Shootout

Clams '14 AA squad makes an impressive run to the semi's at one of the nation's toughest events

Team: 2014 AA

Record: 6-2 (Tournament Semi-finalist)

Comments:  As always, this team was fun to watch and coach.  Starting off with a strong win on the opening night was nice, but the following morning’s loss (to the eventual tournament champions) was a great learning moment for this team as we then rattled off five straight wins in convincing fashion.  It always stings to loss the last game you play at a tournament, but as was noted, the two teams we lost to were the two playing for the championship.

Below give a quick snap shot of each game and who played well.  It should be noted that every offensive player that traveled down this weekend had at least three points while four players racked up double digit numbers in the total stats column and seven different players gathered in at least 11 groundballs over the eight games.  Overall, a very dominant, successful weekend.
