Title: 2017 Clam Coach Elliott Burr Named Captain of BU Lacrosse
Former 2012 Clam and current Clam Coach Elliott Burr named Captain of BU's inaugural team

Clam alumuns (Class of 2013) and current 2017 Clam Assistant coach Elliott Burr (Hamilton-Wenham/Syracuse), was recently named Captain of Boston University's 2014 Men's Lacrosse squad.  Burr, a sophomore face-off midfielder, will be one of the first Captains in Boston University lacrosse history, as he helps play a prominent role in leading the team into their inaugural Division 1 season.

After a stellar high school career at Hamilton-Wenham High School, 180 points (110 goals, 70 assists), Burr moved on to play his college lacrosse at Syracuse University. At Syracuse Burr battled as one of four face-off specialists, and saw action in four games at the face-off "X" including the 2013 National Championship game.  After his freshman year, Burr decided to transfer to BU to be a part of the first Division 1 lacrosse team in Boston University history.

In addition to Captaining the Terriers, Burr also coaches with our 2017AA Clams squad this fall.  He will be focusing his efforts at both the midfield and the face-off X with our youngest high school squad, a team we believe has a very bright future (just like Elliott).
