Lodging - While you are all your own for lodging, some have found it helpful in the past to know where the coaches are staying. At the Rutgers event, coaches will be staying at the Holiday Inn South Plainfield-Piscataway. The phone number is 1-908-753-5500. Obviously given the distance from this area (expect a 4-5 hour car ride), staying over the night prior is suggested, but not required.

More information can be found about area lodging at the event's website www.mvplaxcamps.com. Direx can be found at this website as well.

Additional Paperwork - I have already submitted the roster to this event. The only thing you will need to do is print out the waiver and bring it with you. As is the case with nearly every event we attend, if you forget the waiver, you will not be permitted to play. The waiver can be found at www.mvplaxcamps.com. I have also attached it for your convenience (MVP waiver).

Schedule (
CLICK HERE FOR SCHEDULE) - As is the case with nearly every event we'll attend, the schedule will not come out until a week or two prior (this event is usually pretty good about getting it up earlier than some others). It will be posted on the website when it is available. You can expect three games at this event, which should start around 9AM (give or take an hour), and should wrap up around 3PM (also giving or taking an hour). All players should meet at their first game field at least a half-hour prior to their first game start time.

Footwear/Uniforms etc. - At this event we will play on both field turf and grass, so bring the appropriate footwear for both. This tournament requires us to wear their reversibles, but we will be wearing our own shorts and undershirts.

MISCELLANEOUS

- Recruiting on your behalf has begun, and will continue in earnest for the remainder of the month. I will convey anything to you that arises and I feel is very important that you know. Otherwise, most of the results of my efforts will be conveyed to you by the coaches directly.

- We are currently working on getting the teams on the website. I anticipate this being done within the next week, or two at the latest.

- REACH OUT TO THESE COACHES AND ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF (if you haven't already). Do not use what I am going to do as a crutch.
