27th Clam Commitment is to D2 Power

Seniors midfielder Jon Siderewicz, in his first year at Brewster Academy this year after starting his high school career at St. Johns Prep, will attend Lemoyne College in Syracuse, NY starting in the fall of 2010. Lemoyne, a juggernaut in D2, has been in the NCAA Championship for 4 straight years, winning two titles.

Jon started with the Clams in the fall of 2008, after rising through the Rising Clam program. Jon has always beena reliably tough and gritty midfielder, with an opportunistic scoring ability that has improved steadily with each passing season.

Very few players position themselves to win a National Championship, in any division. The whole of Clam nation is excited that Jon has done just this. For if he wins one (or two or three the way things go at Le Moyne), and little piece of all of us will be winning one right along with him.
